Overview
Margaret Ashford co-founded the firm in 2003 and serves as its Global Chair. She built her reputation on complex cross-border M&A and family-law matters where the stakes are deeply personal. Over three decades of practice, she has chaired the firm through its expansion from a single Chicago office to 22 offices worldwide. She divides her time between Chicago, London, and the firm’s major client hubs, and continues to lead the corporate governance practice while maintaining a selective family-law docket. She chairs the firm’s global executive committee.
